BTW, this bit is not universally true, so I would not go preaching it about all molds.
I would in fact argue that to some degree, flat Rocs are more understable than Rocs with some dome. I don't have experience with super domey Rocs, but all of the most stable Rocs I have thrown had a bit of dome to them and the flatter ones were more understable.
I agree with you as far as rocs go flat equals stable to understable. Dome usually more over stable. I got my words crossed as i meant to say domey rocs usually tend to have better glide. And as far as Drivers go it is the opposite. Higher % of flat drivers are over stable and the domier drivers usually tend to be more stable and on occasion understable. A domier disc will always have better glide also its just physics. Read some books on the actual process of making disc and how tgey get them to do what they do. You can also look on you tube. Very interesting stuff. Now as why a flat roc is more understable im not sure maybe the design of the nose combined with the depth of the rim and width of the disc. Idk but drivers are definitely opposite in MOST cases. And i also did not mean pop top sexton firebirds i just simply meant the seam to be a little more domier than a 12'kc firebird. And also fly alot further.

I just bought a champion san Marino big bird stamp. Its a LE i believe possibly SE. Either way i am not huge on collecting although looking at my collection you may beg to differ. Iprefer throwing a good run when they come around. Anyone else own one of these? If so, how do you like them. Ive thrown it a few times but not a huge champion plastic fan. I like my dx, kc pro, and pro plastic for drivers.. of course older ce and star is great plastic but just not sure how i like this disc. Tempting to take it in the woods and beat it like it owes me money to see how i like it broken in.

Beat DX Roc
Fresh DX Roc
KC Roc (if needed)
I have that setup but I bookend it with an extra beat ass DX on the bottom and a stable USDGC on the top. Whats wrong with carrying 5 Rocs?

5 is the correct number of Rocs.

I agree. Two of them will end up being "tweeners" between the fresh/seasoned/beat stages so there will be some overlap and you may not throw them as much as the other three. Given that, you CAN carry three. You SHOULD carry five.

I know this is blasphemy around here, so luckily Im asking for a friend...

How do the color glow dx roc3s feel?

This same friend had one of the test run dx roc3s from the pro shop and the blend was awesome.

I have one of those and if I remember correctly, it's very overstable. Mine is just as OS as most of the USDGC Champ Ranchos I have (more OS than the Champ Ranchos from some years like 2015). It's a good disc for that OS bookend position in a Roc lineup.
