Default DGA shockwave

I was wondering if any one has thrown one? I just ordered one to replace a champ gator. I really like the aftershock so decide to go DGA again. Any body wanting to comment on the shockwave would be great but buzz and roc guys just shut up already.

Pretty sure the 1st runs were straighter like the Aftershock but the production runs are pretty overstable and the one I had was similar to a Drone with a little different feel on the wing.

Anyway from what I have heard they should be like the one I had and will replace a Gator nicely.

My shockwave is definitely overstable. It always comes back. It can be a little hard for me to release cleanly, so I use it sparingly. Some of y'all may find it a bit like a fresh overstable Roc.

The one I have is not even in the same league of overstability as a Gator. Flies more like a Buzz--I just like the feel of the Buzz better.

I find they fly pretty much like the drawing in the DGA information sheet. You can turn them over, but they turn back hard. Good for a 200-250' shot that you need to shape around obstacles, but not any good in a narrow fairway.

I've had three and they all threw like overstable Rocs to me. Not quite as stable as a Gator. Come to think of it they are very similar to a Sentinel.

I'm drooling to try a CFR Gator but have only thrown the star so far. Great FH mid that will hook sharply at lower speeds and fade a little more gradually when you really lean into it. Excellent woods disc when you need to bend your lines around timber. Very predictable with minimal glide. Drops out of the sky like a frozen pork chop--fewer blow-bys.
