Default DGA Hurricane mold question...

is the hurricane a completely brand new mold for DGA, or was it also an older or discontinued Discraft disc? Regardless, it is one great flying piece of plastic.

btw, the squall is in a league by itself...damn!

It's supposed to be a straighter flying hybrid of discraft's flash and force...I don't really own enough DC to verify that.

Mine is stable as hell

Maybe I should cut some up and compare them. I just bought them and filed them away.

Go right ahead: I hear that if you power your band saw with burning hundred dollar bills, it works better and faster.

I've caught bits and pieces of this over on DGR. A Force/Flash combo is what it seems like. Has a very small notch and a very small bead.

Someone said its a Force SS, well-stated. Same rim thickness, but less stable than a Force, and a touch more stable than a Pro Destroyer.

So than the Hurrican is like a Destroyer than huh? What innova model does the rim thickness compare to?

I wasn't planning on gettin one in fear of the rim being as thick as say the boss or katana. Not a fan of the giant rims. If it's not so thick, I might just plan on checking on out.

The Hurricane has a rim thickness of 2.4cm, the same as a Destroyer, and is 0.1cm thinner than the speed 13 Boss, Katana, and Nuke. I'm not sure if you'll really be able to feel (i.e. the grip will be pretty much the same) much of a difference between the two.. 0.1cm is not a lot.
