Default Denver Area

So, I will be in the Denver Area, March 18th thru the 22nd for the most part I will be up in Loveland with limited car capabilities. Just throwing out some feelers to see if anyone would be inclined to meet up and toss. As of right now Valmont in Boulder looks to be my first target on the 18th after that is all up in the air. Recommendations are welcome. Thanks

If you're going to be traveling between Boulder and Loveland, you should hit Clark Centennial Park and Loomiller Park in Longmont. They are both small 9 holes, but close enough to each other that many play them as 18. They aren't killer courses, but the pickings in this area are slim, and these are both well maintained.

I just played River Ranch DGC yesterday, and the conditions are good. This course isn't that great either, but it's a quick jump off the highway, so it's an easy one to bag.

If you can get to it, Oxbow DGC in Windsor is a small quirky course that although short, can be a fun round.

There's not much in Loveland itself, except for maybe Mehaffey Park, but it's short with not much of a challenge.

Hey Juan, I have played both the 9 hole courses in Longmont already as well as the Oxbow Course. This is not my first time to Colorado, my brother lived in Laramie, WY for over 10 years and have good friend in the Denver area. So, I've been up and down the eastern slope. Busy Wednesday trying to make my way to Boulder via the rail system and getting to Valmont while I wait for my buddy to get done with work. After that its kind of up in the air. I did plan on hitting Mehaffey though. This trip isn't about bagging as much as it is about trying to maybe meet up with a fellow disc golfer at any point in my long weekend.

Not a fan of Valmont. If you go, go early before it gets swarmed with all of the college kids or expect to wait a lot.

If you hit Valmont before 11:00 during the week, you should be fine. That's when I always play it, and I can get in and out in just about an hour.

It does get quite busy during the lunch rush and after work though. I hear it's a zoo on the weekends.
