"Hey, have you seen my sweet new kidney bean colored bomber?!?" said no one ever.

I finally found one with same color core as my Crave on KWS, super bright neonish yellow. But pickings are slim...

Seems like years ago they had the same bright centers as their MVP counterparts but with colorful rims. Not sure when or why they thought copper or green or that kidney bean color mentioned previously were good ideas.

They dont have the market cornered on crappy colors though. Seems every manufacturer is trying new things and a lot of them are turning out in greens, grays, earth tones, or other pukey, hard to find colors.

Its probably all a marketing strategy to sell more discs when you lose your favorite camo colored one.

To say nothing of Innova's efforts to pass off leftover plastic pellets that combine to make ugly green/brown as "swirly."

And I was mistaken, it was an Insanity I found in kidney bean:

Anyway, bright Wrath secured. Hopefully more hit the market soon as new production facility gets up to full speed.

My rule with disc colors is that the farther it can fly, the brighter and easier it better be to find. I dont mind rocking mossy green putting putters (currently do). One of my main throwing putters is a clear blurple proton ion. Have a mid that's a bright (but grassy) green color. Fairways and distance drivers? As bright and florescent colored as possible. I've always really liked axiom for that reason. I can pair 2 bright colors together. Seems even easier to find. I have a bright blue orange rimmed wrath that almost glows no matter where it lands. I think the contrasting colors help too. If for some reason the blue doesn't stick out, the orange does. Or vise versa. I like it.

Same here. I can find even poorly colored discs if Im not throwing them really far. If Im going for distance I want that thing to stick out like a sore thumb.

I love swirly s-line plastic but wont order directly from Discmania because they keep sending me those nasty green/gray colors.

I do wish my blurple ion was brighter ....bought it before I knew putters can go over 200'. Especially Ions. I think I'd maybe throw it more if it were easier to find. I only use it in low risk for loss/shorter throws. It's my favorite, and longest tenured, disc in my bag. But it's mostly just carried for backup/sentiment reasons now. I throw a bright yellow plasma ion in its place. For now, anyways. If it ever gets lost, something that isn't OOP will replace it. Likely another ion of a different flavor. Maybe they will have soft neutron ones by then....

Have any of you guys been throwing the Deflector/Pyro? I was shooting a video comparing the two as well as the Runway and I have to say that I am more and more shocked how much I like those two not only in their own slots, but as a pairing. The Pyro for me is that classic straight to fade fairway and the Deflector is the hard fading complement that is great for FH.

I’ve not considered moving off the Bard/Justice combo just yet, but if it throws that well on the course a few times I’ll be tempted.

The Pyro is my go to forehand mid-range. Absolutely love it.
