Default HOD 7/29/2015: Pier Park Hole 4 in Portland, OR

Course Rating of 4.30 from 85 reviews.

Hole 4
Par 3
Pin A: 264 ft.
Pin B: 318 ft.
Alt Tee to Pin A: 342 ft.

Tip By: JMONEY
I throw RHBH and choose to throw a ROC with a release higher than normal avoiding the bushy tree in line with the basket, getting past that tree will allow an easy birdie or par.

It's my home course. And one of my favorite holes.
It's been in the 318 position for a few years now (this hole is only part of the summer layout). That arrow is not pointed at the pin. It's further back and left behind the big mound. It's a blind shot.

Eagle or worn TB low thrown right at the big tree, play the early turn to miss the trees and skip hard at the back at the pin for a drop in bird. Or go over the small tree with a 60% TB or a full Roc, for an easy par or birdie try. I go low and hard unless it's muddy.

Likely the most birdied hole on the course. Definitely is for me.

Beat Small Bead Aviar Or Roc for the short.

Beat 11x Teebird for the middle.

Star Roadrunner for the long.

The basket is back there behind the mound where the sun is shining. On the left.

These are two teeshots using the low/skip line. Yellow QOLF on the left, Glow Eagle on the right.

There is no long. And I haven't seen it in the short spot once since 2011. The hole is 318. Always.
