So, yeah...Leinenkugel was what happens when you hang out in polka lounges.

Somehow despite being just a regular-old small brewer of terrible lager beer, they managed to get their beer in with the microbrews in the 90's and passed themselves off as part of that new wave of brewers making good beer in America for a change. It's like there was some good microbrews and they just went "Ope, let me scooch this here lager in there eh?" and suddenly Leinenkugel was supposed to be good beer. Amazing. They got away with it, though.
Haha! Leinenkugels started 15 minutes from my home town. It's my beer of choice. My grandma owned a bar forever, always loved the Brew herself. Running joke is that's how I got my name....haha.

Shiner might be the best cheaper beer around (although it's not as cheap as it used to be). Obviously, it's everywhere here in Texas but sometimes i get a little bitter than we don't get Yuengling around here.

So much depends on mood and if you just ate something it can effect that too.
Yeah for a bitter beer, I like Serra Nevada. They make that and a few others that I do not drink, some of the first USA IPA and Double IPA beers.

I haven’t tried a lot of IPAs, and the only one I’ve really liked so far is Revolver’s Hop Device IPA. It’s the only beer from Revolver that I like so far. The others have been either too sweet or too bitter for me at the time.

I picked up some cream ales to try. Little Kings is not available locally, but I visit Indiana frequently, so I will try it before too long.
