Check out Mountain Pride in Murrieta. La Mirada is probably about 90 minutes from San Diego depending on traffic.

Mountain Pride has some really fun shots, it's a bit of a disaster in terms of course navigation and flow though. I recommend a guide, if you let me know I'm happy to show you around.

The next nearest course north of San Diego county is Mountain Pride, Willowglen park in Murrieta. Quality wise, it's about in the middle of the 15 or so So Cal courses. Worth playing once anyway. Long tees recommended.

Can't wait to get a full round in at Morley. Tried playing it recently and I had to leave early. Already dreaming of going back.

Try Sycuan, its 9 holes with 3 different tee pads. Not a long course but the b and c positions can be a little technical. It is next to or part of the Sycuan golf course and resort. The hotel rooms are decent and there is shuttle service to the casino.
