Default Is this an ace?

So I show up to the course to kill some time before meeting up with my friend to head to a tournament. I am about to tee off on hole 1 when I see my two travel partners putting out on hole 6.

The course had been redesigned and they walked to the new Hole 7 where I met them at the tee. My friends teed off on the 230ft hole and then I followed up by throwing my Magnet on a perfectly straight line right into the heart of the chains before the disc nestled in the basket.

We walked up to the next tee where I had the box and finished the round on hole 9 (9 hole course in Downtown Houston) before heading out and getting ready for the weekend trip.

Anyway that throw was my 1st on the course in 1-2 years and the 1st on the "new" hole and I only played three holes total that "round" and the other thread brought this question up in my mind so...................Is this an ace?

Let's call it a "soft" ace since you didn't finish every hole. I'd call it an ace.

The way I judge it, minimum requirement for an ace is that it's the first throw from a designated tee pad and is in the basket in one throw. The better the conditions, the more I'm impressed.

The hole pictured doesn't look like a gimme either, especially with a putter. Well done, that's a sick ace.

Take one of your buddies back to play 1 through 5 , tell him to bring beer and a 5 dollar bill.
Sign your scorecard, have him sign the scorecard and your disc, put the disc away and get drunk whilst hoopin and hollerin like a wild banshee.
You got you an ace Ace!~

This is getting out of hand.
You throw an ace and because of something some one said on the internet, you question if it's an ace....wow.

Can I suggest more of you people sign off and go out play more golf.

This. I definitely would have called it a legitimate ace, but now that you made a thread about it, the answer is no.
