The only speed 10 I've ever thrown is an Avenger SS. It was a nice disc, but not nice enough for me to go fish it out of a gator pond.

I haven't bagged a speed 10 consistently since the PD. I'd probably say that the Vulture would be that disc if I carried one.

Loving my Anax's for the overstability, if I need something to get right for me I can lean on them pretty heavily. (yes, lefty...)

I also like my Avenger SS' for Hyzer flips.

I used to have a couple Lat 64 Musket's but found once my first two Anax beat in a bit they flew very similarly.

Not trying to talk ****, just discussion.

Funny how they have the Firebird bottom like the OLF or Thunderbird, yet are somehow a speed faster on paper? No way the PD is GUARANTEED longer than a Thunderbird or OLF. Firebird being slower than the three of those molds would make some sense, confused by the ThB/OLF/PD though...

same I threw a cousins Avenger and SS molds, the SS was flippy being it was the ESP FLX disc that flew like a Monarch that my brother used at one point before stopping due in part to the grove hooking in his fingers not quite what I wanted, I wanted an 11 speed Valkyrie flight but more a lower rim height unlike the Beast being so deep, more that of a Surge. The Avenger in Z or Z FLX I forget was a no glide between Firebird and Thunderbird disc that I never liked as a Thunderbird/Teebird OS is really all I need for a driver but those are hard to find. The Avenger was not the disc I was looking for at all. Since then the Cousin has switched to the Raptor or Vulture when it came out in 2017 (I forget the mold) as his disc for the Avenger as the glide is lacking on all but the first year or two of production, not to mention the Avenger became oop at the same time the Raptor and Vulture came out.

The top makes all the difference. The firebird and thunderbird have slightly blunt wings comparitively - the 'anhyzer' top on the PD is much more tapered. I think it does make a difference

Another vote for Beast (L, I think, or the newer mold). A heavy Star Beast with some dome is a thing of beauty. I have a few of them, and they get good use both backhand and forehand. For me, champ seemed a bit glideless (for both X and L) and DX was just so stinkin' flippy that it was useless. So that's my $0.02, but Star is where it's at.

If the Vulture is a speed 10, it's also a winner and has been in my bag for around a year now. It's not quite as overstable as a Thunderbird, but I find it to behave like a very beat-in Predator or Tsunami. Also works great forehand and backhand which is important for me, and I like how it feels in the hand.

I’m a big fan of the Musket, whose stability fits nicely between the Orc and Beast L. Have struggled to find anything else like it. I should stock up, as they don’t seem too popular, and could go OOP.
