So GG shoots 8 under. Recorded as 7 under but still is forced to take another shot penalty cause the score was miss-recorded higher?

That's got to be the dumbest rule I've ever heard of. If you are recorded a shot worse that is already a penalty, no need to add salt to the wound. I understand it's the players responsibility..... It's just a dumb rule. I could see if it was recorded as less then dock him an extra shot, but not the other way.

Just seems like a way a devious player keeping score could screw someone over if they were that evil.
