This is the GYRO distance driver that I've been itching for.

I love the Photon but they are just a tick too beefy for me on max D drives. I only like to bag one distance disc as I can usually push my fairways out pretty far, so a versatile flyer is critical. The Photon does a lot of things well but sometimes I want a touch more turn or delay in the fade. I think the Defy is going to prove to be the disc I have been hoping for. Also... The eye catching color combos make these a no brainer for a distance disc.

Anyone throw this yet? My local shops didn't get their shipments in Friday. Hopefully Monday or Tuesday.

It's not as "heavily seasoned Photon" as one might imagine. Think Photon with a little edge taken off, and you have the Defy.

Sorry, should have clarified. Was looking for a higher sample size and hoping someone has picked up a lightweight one. I am thinking about getting a 155ish one, wondering if that might be the faster Crave I'm looking for.

No prob. Lighter weight sounds like a good idea.

These new molds are not seasoning in easily. Pretty damn durable. I threw my nitro into some rocks yesterday and handed it to my buddy. He said he wouldnt have ever known if i sold him it as a 9/10.

MVP wasnt playing when they said the new OM material would be more durable. Super sharp rims are looking fresh but damn!

I don't mind that but what's the point? Wouldn't a photon season into this pretty quickly?
