"I don't mind that but what's the point?"

The point is and always will be to sell more discs.

Honestly it took some major throwing of my photon and seasoning to get it to turn up and not fade. Plus it was a 166g. This needs a slight retool IMO in order to really seperate itself from the photon.

My slightly used photons in proton and neutron at max weight fly pretty much the same as the 2 defy ive been testing. All the PLHs are very close as well as dome with protons.

I tried to beat up one of the defy but it needs work b4 i see it being like my most beat 166g neutron.

Aim, what are the weights of your defys? I really want something to fit in between my max weight proton and 143 fission. Really hoping this would be no turn with very light fade.

This, 1100%. It flies great, but I was quite disappointed. I was looking for the slot the Defy was advertised as: between a Photon and Wave. But I couldn't flip the Defy over with 400+ ft of power. It's a good flier, but not even close to what I was expecting.

I picked up a 166 Defy today. Was hoping for lighter weight, but this was the lightest the local store had. Another of the local shops was supposed to order a light weight one for me, but it'll be at least a week until I can get that one. Haven't had a chance to throw this one yet though, it's been pouring with quite a bit of lightning ever since we got to Selah today. Hopefully there will be some dry times tomorrow to get out and test this out.

First impression, it does feel a lot like an N Photon. This might have a bit more dome, but only just.

170+ in general i throw max weight stuff if not specifically stated. Id go 166s and give it a little love. Should be happy vs the super light which i assume is a little US?

Yep. Im no pro but understand my discs pretty well specially MVPs. This seems to be a proton photon with funny color combos

Yep, in a nutshell It might have been the tailwind when I tested them (but my Photons/Waves/Octane/Nitro were fine..), but it seems like the Defy had really low glide and just dumped out left. Has anyone else noticed that? or was it just me?

I got a few throws with it today. It flies like a faster Wrath to me. It doesn't hold the negative line for very long, and when it fades, it does dump pretty hard. It is fresh and had a lot of flashing on when I bought it. I trimmed some of it off, but hopefully it loses that dump as it seasons. I did have some pretty nice throws with it, but it's not going to be replacing my Inertia for all out distance.

Man, kind of bummed. I've got a 175g proton photon and a 143g fission and was hoping to sit the defy right between them with the hss of the proton but the lss of the fission. Maybe I'll still grab a light one and try to season it hard.
