This sold me. I'll trade a missed putt for an empty course any day.

Why does the course exist in the first place? That's because lots of people have taken up the sport.

You should've seen it back when I was new to the game. Yes, the one course within an hour's drive was empty. I never saw somebody who knew what they were doing for like five years.

Screw that.

There are 261 Premier Pros in 2020. Your figure would imply there are 2.61 billion disc golfers, or one out of every three people on earth.

Based on the crowds since COVID, yeah, maybe that's about right.

Little John and Robbin Hood were arguing in the forest over whether or not Pro's need smaller basket, Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally not a great day. Next thing you know the duo was no longer playing disc golf together, Oo-de-lally, oo-de-lally not a great time.

Yep was this way until the end of the 2000's too in smaller populated areas no course at collage or no collage period.

The MILLIONS of players who fund the freaking sport wouldn't gain as much enjoyment out of it. Almost everybody is missing a bunch of 20 to 25-footers as it is with the current baskets.
I don't think the average chucker would notice if the basket was smaller. Even if they did I don't think it would stop them from playing.

Nope it would not, few of them noticed the baskets when first installed at Steamboat Park in Pierre South Dakota were single Chain Lighting DB-5, before they even had a second set of chains on the Lighting DB-5 baskets, this was before the baskets got Mach III tops from Powerhouse Ally old cage Mach III that needed replacing due to the the bottom parts of the baskets being messed up after the Missouri River Flood in 2011.
