The arm doesn't pull the disc. The disc swings from the elbow and pushes the disc out from center. The hips pull the shoulder/arm/disc unit.

So this was my last round before I hit the field hard over the winter.
Didn't change much but worked on a flatter pull/avoid the swoop (did meh, but better) and trying to keep my off arm from trailing behind (did ok in the 1st vid, terrible in the 2nd). 1. You start with front foot/body turned back too far away and never addressed to target. Setup addressed open to target and then turn away in the backswing while taking a 6" step forward.
2. You spin out instead of shifting your balance/spine/weight dynamically to front leg. Note how your right heel spins down away from target and your left heel spins up away from target.
