Default Anything better then a Roadrunner?

I have two Champ RR 168 Red and 173 Blue. Fly 360-375 for me. Ive had/tried an ASS ESP, Mamba Champ, Sidewinder Star and DX, Fever Star and Archangel DX. I like my RR's because they hold the turn longer then ASS/SW/Fever without being overly flippy dirt eaters like the Mamba/Archangel are.

How about the Fury, Secret Weapon, TD Rush and Underworld? Those discs I have not thrown. Has anyone gone to those from Roadrunners? What disc should I try next or should I forget it and keep the RR's?

Underworld is good, may be too flippy for you though, i had it turn and burn bad on me a couple times when powered up. I am really enjoying my MVP Amp.. its flippy but only at longer distances and doesn't burn because it has the LSS to pan out to flat by the time it hits dirt.. powered down its nice and straight, can make some finesse S curves with it also.

TiASS might be what you're looking for, not as flippy compared to the other plastics it's molded in.

I did actually like the ESP ASS overall but not as much as the RR. I may have to pick up a TI and play around with it.

I started with roadrunners and switched to a Beat T Sword that got flippy, yet wouldn't burn.. been using that since, i like that it will turn over for a long turn but it always hits dirt flatter and never rolls. The sword may be faster than what your looking for though and requires time to beat it in.. unless you get an AIR version that is super light, those are flip city out of the box.

My beat GL Rivers were in the bag forever, 2-3 years and i loved them for late turnovers and flat landings also.

My MVP Amps do this stuff right out of the box for long turnover drives and they are super consistent so i just switched to them this summer.. wouldn't go back, especially since i like the whole fairway lineup they have and it feels the same in the hand as all their other fairways. makes for a consistent grip feel. They also are the most durable and will stay flying the same for much longer.

Amps, Hmm. Yeah consistency is the word I should of used earlier. The RR's for me turn gentler and longer then the others Ive thrown. The others either come out earlier or are dirt eaters unless thrown with a perfect angle (nose and release).

I'll have to keep those in mind too.

Honestly Im not sure why I want to replace them, trying out discs for me is an obsession. At least its better then doing Crack.

I get you on the trying discs out thing lol, but I've come to realize if its working for you, no reason to change it. There's a reason the RR is the standard for understable control.

If you dont have a problem with the way your roadrunners are working for you then id say you should just continue to use them.
