Switch that hole to Marksman size, and the trees stay. I guarantee it.

So, to understand, your dream hole is a hole with a 15' wide fairway, totally hazard/obstruction free, and ends with a smaller than normal basket at the end? And all holes in existence should be this way?

Your course? So that means the land has been acquired and/or permission to build a course there granted.

Pics or it didn't happen.

I even said it has a few great holes, but a few bad ones too. I said number 18 looked like a great hole. That said I haven't played it. But just watching the coverage even on one hole Castro said he just aimed for the first gap then hoped. At that point skill isn't being rewarded, luck is. Skill to throw the right line and speed and being lucky if it gets through the next 40 trees.

Good courses can have bad holes too. That of course brings me back to the ease of making C1 putts. Why do they leave fairways littered with trees? To stop players from landing in C1.

I'd wager that's not correct for 99% of the courses out there especially the ones on public land. Usually trees are left in fairways because:

- It's too expensive to take out and there is no budget for that
- The landowner has forbidden removal of said trees.

I disagree because you can see many trees on these courses have been removed. You may be correct that sometimes that is an issue, but if you are building a course, obviously you are going to have to cut trees and create fairways. It's going to be pretty hard to build a course and not even cut down a sapling. lol

Nope. I have honest clinical reasons why I believe this to be true. It is not funny, it is not slander.

I am going to bow out of this thread, because of this belief. I fear whatever keep driving you, will lose it potency to provide you with, whatever it is you need it for.

Good luck and try to seek some help.

When did I say you can't remove any trees to build a course?

Oh yeah, I didn't.
