Default Largest Disc

What is the largest allowable PDGA approved disc? I got a Lightning #2 Roller disc and it is much larger than the other discs in my bag.

30 cm. The # 2 Roller is a bit smaller than a Condor, and the Condor has a 24.1 cm diameter.

I'm fairly certain it is legal to use frisbee lids in PDGA tourney play. Those are much larger than really any "made for disc golf" disc that you'll ever find.

The Lightning #2 roller is also on the list of PDGA approved discs. So you're safe.

I looked it up. The B-17/# 2 Roller has a 23.6 cm diameter, so it is a lot smaller than the Max diameter.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a disc on the approved list that comes anywhere close to 30 cm. I'm not going to look, but that's my guess.

Largest is 27.5

PDGA approved discs, sorted by diameter, first 40 or so entries:

I fit my Z Buzzz into my Condor and the two fit so well it took awhile to separate them.. so that gives you an idea of how large a Condor is anyway.

Looking at that list, I find it interesting that the Discraft Ultimate Disc is slightly smaller than the Innova Ultimate discs. Hard to tell where the typical Whamo Ultimate disc really is, but I am not sure who would want to use those discs anyways, they are junk.
