Default Disc ‘everyone bags’ but you don’t

What’s a disc you feel like ‘everyone uses’ a ton, but you just don’t use/bag?

I own a Z Glow Buzzz and a Lucid Truth, that straight 5 speed mid that I see people/pros throw all the time. However, I don’t ever throw a Buzzz or Truth, and have no straight mid in the bag. A Harp or a Bounty is the closest I get. If I could throw a Buzzz 400’, well sure... maybe some day.

Also have a beat in Verdict, Drone, Fuse... haven’t been able to reliably add them in for some reason. The 4 speeds have me. Maybe I need a Mako.

At the moment, I don’t bag any fairways. I go from speed 4 to speed 9. My Rocs fly far enough that I don’t really miss them. Plus my speed 9 lineup is Firebird, Thunderbird, Valkyrie, and Roadrunner. All Champ. The Thunderbird serves the same purpose that my TeeBirds did previously. TeeBirds are still the best fairways ever.

I don’t throw it that often, but when you need a Firebird there is nothing else like it. It’s so good at what it does.

Get a DX Firebird and beat it in. You'll love it.

Destroyer, firebird, teebird, buzz, roc, aviar, wizard and countless countless others.

I don't think anything I bag falls within a top 50 list. Maybe one or two discs? I remember looking at Infinites best seller charts and thinking my bag was rather...... unique.

My bag is pretty hipster, Justice and Harp are the only ones I throw that are considered mainstream I think.

One everyone uses is ROC/Wasp or they have Buzz/Truth. I have neither. The ROC has no glide for me and the Wasp in Z has no glide unless you get the lighter weight ones that do not fight the wind the way the heavier weighs do. Buzz/Truth I use the hipster version of that mold Shark 3 for true midrange 2 of them with 2 backup molds.

Then the other is Firebird/Teebird , I use the Stalker an Eagle like disc for this slot as well as for fairway stuff.

Then almost eveyone uses a highly OS approach disc or Innova putter shaped midrange for this slot, be it the Zone, Sinus, Harp, AviarX3, Stud, Pig, Ryhno, Gator, Cayman/Mortar, ect. While I use a Star Shark and let the less power/speed give the disc more fade then normal when I use mold for main Driving putter slot. I do have a tick US Driving putter that is for the slight US driving putter slot but not main driving putter.

Then seems everyone uses a more mainstream putter even some of the lesser models from Innova and Gateway are used more then what I use though some like the Stud more for driving then a putting putter, the Magnet/Proline Titanic. Nobody uses that mold for a putter. Even those who use the mold are using the Soft Pro D over the Jawbreaker/Pro D.

Anything in that speed 12 or 13 category. Everyone bags big drivers but I gave it up. Topping out around 350’ they just don’t do anything for me. I can hit my max distance with stuff in the 9 and 10 speed range.
