Finger drag on putting? I ain't no expert, but that sounds like technique problem. I mean, I know some discs can get more grippier than others, but there is no way that it's so stick that you can't release it right.

I have a few soft ions and anodes I use on my practice basket and I have no problems with them being too tacky. I mean they are super tacky but it doesn't affect my putting at all.

It's really a mental thing, along with temperature and whether or not you have sweaty palms. I switch inbetween medium, soft, and 2nd runs which are even softer and tackier. In the winter I was loving the 2nd runs, but now that the weather's heating up I prefer a bit harder plastic.
