From watching him the last few rounds, it seems like the Buzzz has taken over the Mako3 slot, not the Roc slot.

He certainly does throw the Buzzz nice

Seems like he's throwing the Z Wasp on hyzer midrange shots, buzzz on dead straight to very slight hyzer shots, while throwing the jawbreaker wasps for turnovers.

15 + years later and the Roc/Buzzz debate still lives. All is right again

Can we change the title of this thread? It needs to be, Discraft is better; no, Innova is better; no, no, Discraft is better; Oh you're nuts, clearly Innova is better; Waaaaa, Discraft is better; Double Waaaaa Innova is better.

Whatever happened to theories that Paul isn't wearing shoes, is out of step, and is wearing a white suit, meaning he's dead?

BTW - my theory is that -Innova and Discraft figured out the way to drive sales would be to move Paul to Discraft. That would drive the Discraft fan boys to buy oodles of Paul First Run discs and then the Innova fan boys, not to be outdone, would crank up their buys.

Who's #1, who's #1, who's #1...

I think people got tripped up on the learning new discs side of it and possibly missed the opposite possibility.
Sometimes when you switch things up it forces you to pay more attention. You can't coast on old feelings and habits, you have to take the time to be more deliberate with everything. Obviously a man who threw a 1000 rated round with a DX starter pack can throw any disc well enough to win.

That sounds more like a summary than a title.

It really hadn’t devolved into brand competition until the last page or so. The whole McBeth switch doesn’t tell us that Innova or Discraft is good, it reminds us that Paul is good.
