Default Gateway Organic putter

Anybody use one of these? I have one but haven't thrown it yet. (I just like smelling it. Smells kinda like tires.)

I guess it's just a Wizard. I have the one with the Arch logo. I don't know if that makes a difference.

yes i had a Wizard in that green organic blend - did smell a bit odd - it felt good at first - then after a whilte felt a bit odd on the flight plate as if it were a tad uneven / slightly warped

but the fact it was grass green was annoying. had a hemp one that was black - so id never use them for anything but putting - that reason alone made it easy to walk away and try some brighter putters

I just borrowed one yesterday and threw it a few times. The one I used was a Wizard. They have a strange, almost chalky texture and are fairly rigid. It's a pretty nice putter, I just prefer them a little softer.

I have 15 Organic Magic putters.
Obviously, I use them for practice and on the course.
They are a good blend of soft and stiff.
The texture is slightly "rubbery" but they're firm, not floppy.
They hit the chains and tend to stick. Of course, all this is all my feel and my opinion.
I use a SS MAgic for approach shots, but the Organic for all putting.
One negative is that they will roll, just like all Magics. I use the SS Magic for any situation that might induce a roll.
Hope that helps.

I switched to wizards after picking up an organic a vendor was selling. It feels GREAT and does indeeed smell like maple syrup when new. It is my favorite feeling wizard of the gateway plastics

Question Bring thread back from grave to ask a question

Has anyone had an organic Magic? I just bought one because I love the way it feels. It is a light blue color and I have never seen one like it before. The only color I have seen the organic Magic was black until I saw this one. Mine seems to be softer than any of the black organic Magics I have seen and felt.

Is the color supposed to be an indication on the feel/softness of the organics? If so, anyone else have anything besides a black organic Magic? I have seen Wizards in other colors, but not the Magic.

you most likely got a "chalky blue" prototype. I have one and nothing else on the market feels like it. Superb grip in dry/wet conditions and breaks in to be quite flexible. However, it will warp easily if abused. They were manufactured in 2007 i think and have long been OOP.

PS... thanks for searching before creating a new thread!
