Default "This plastic feels AMAZING!!!"

Is this the most overused phrase in disc golf today? It seems like every company has a new plastic these days, and from what I hear they all feel...well, amazing.

Is all this plastic really amazing, or are we just easily impressed?

The only amazing plastic dosen't feel like plastic at all. It feels like an eraser. Hint-hint.

A lot of posters have been raving about MVP's "new" plastic. It all feels the same to me. Unless something is REALLY different, like super stiff/floppy, or eraser, rubbery...it's not worth mentioning. All the premium plastic is about the same.

Some plastics feel pretty darn good, xlink medium rubber (well technically a thermoplastic elastomer with a higher percentage of rubber) feels amazing.

That being said, we are easily impressed and have such a wide variety of tastes that each plastic is going to have people raving about how amazing it is.

The only plastic that I would consider "amazing" is the gummier champion, especially the old pearly blends. That being said, the term "amazing" is grossely overused these days.

Right, people are just quick to buy into marketing in disc golf and elsewhere.

The only plastics I feel that deserves the "amazing" label are CE and 400s/g. That tackiness is on point!

I'd say this is: "... holds any line you put on it."

Well, I don't know about you guys, but I love the feel of the gummy Roc3s. More grip than regular champion, and just perfect for a mid-range in my opinion!
