Default Why aren't my fairways going very far?

As some of you know I've been throwing mostly valks and wraiths lately. Now I was told that throwing discs like teebirds and eagles would increase my distance if my Drivers were not doing it for me. But they go about half the distance my Wraith and Valk go. So I'm finding that fairway drivers are completely useless to me seeing how I can throw my buzz just as far. But people swear by the Teebird and Eagle, so I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong...

You're probably struggling with a few technique issues. How far are you throwing the Teebird?

That's not very good, frankly. You FH right? If you can't get your teebird as far as your Wraith then it is definitely some form issue. If the teebird is turning over too hard try releasing it with some hyzer. If that's to no avail try something more overstable like a Banshee. I suspect that you are rolling your wrist over badly but it's hard to say without video or details.

or your throwing up, whether its nose up, or just sky high shots....
since you failed to fill your profile information, i have no idea how old you are, male female and whatnot

but i find it hard to believe anyone who is somewhat coordinated can't get over 200 with mids
if you cant you have no business with any driver, even for a meat hook
throw putters and mids (even though you think you cant - whatever the excuse) stick with them until you get your form going in the right direction

discs will help... but under 200 theres more than discs that need to change

My suspicion is you are compensating on the drivers to get them going, and they are not even going driver distance and that translates into a crash and burn with the Teebirds and other fairways. Something like a Banshee might cover that up.

Watch the angle of your throw. You gotta find the sweet spot consistantly to where you are not putting too much anny or hyzer on it.

If you are throwing a Wraith 200-250, you need to put it away. I can throw my putter 200ft my Buzz 230, and my Stalker 250-270. If you are not putting your Wraith out 290-320 easily, you shouldn't be throwing it.

mr noob you should throw nothing but putters until you can get them out to 200' controlled. then understable mids. then super understable drivers. gotta get your form down before youre ready for the big gun discs.

200' with a putter controlled is pretty easy IMO, and Im not that good. 250', I can get but man do I get wild so that is my goal for putters.

Just keep throwing everyday and watch good players throw. It will come sooner than you think.
