Default 1 Speed discs!

Recently had someone told me that no bag is complete without a 1 speed disc for approaches, jump-putt's and various little trick shots...

Discs like the Beetle, Sonic, Birdie, Polecat...am I missing any others? Are there others that should be considered???

The Innova Zephyr is generally listed as speed 2 on most websites, but I consider it to be speed 1.

Any ultimate frisbee disc is probably speed 1.

Personally, I don't care to bag a speed 1 disc for playing a round of disc golf. To each his own.

I've played with very few people who have a speed 1 in their bag. What you need in your bag is whatever works best for your game. Aviars, or any equivalent disc, works fine for me and many others I see.

I know a player in the 2000's who used up to the point of 200_ when the Putter of the Sonic was hard to find, then switched to the lighter weight Super Sonic in Champion (Candy) by HeroSports, the Star (Taffy) and G Star (Gummy) were not out as a plastic from the dog division of Innova when the regular mold became hard to find. He then later after trials of the Pig in the old Pro (got a bad concave Pig with zero glide) then switched to a lightweight DX Ryhno unmodified as his main mold he made by Hot car 1 hour, all day on hot pavement, or microwave 5 seconds to feel like the old soft DX Rhyno he had that broke in putting.

He was the only player that used speed 1 discs, Besides my dad using a Juju Supreme a slow almost speed 1 for his main putter when not using the old plastic Pro Rhyno.

I find no need for a speed 1 disc anymore. I did use at one point a speed 2 (every other brands speed 1) disc from Discraft, the Soft x Putt'r though the plastic the disc is in that is not good for a lid. The Soft X plastic went concave during a single putting section after 25-30 times of putting into an Innova skill shot and the disc lost all its glide.
