thats how it's supposed to look. good job.

maybe a LITTTTLE less dye next time. or dilute it with water. cause that one is kinda dark.

Yeah, I did think I used a little much on the dye. I did lift it and turn it once. When I picked it up the first time it kinda pooled so I flipped it back over and let it sit for a little longer. I followed your tutorial and it took a total of 4-5 hours

if you've got the dye at the right water/dye ratio, it should take only about 10 minutes per layer of "marbling"

I figured that, maybe next time try a lighter color so you can dye a design over it a darker color, and it'll make a sweet background
