Love the Ti mantis. Going right in the bag along with my BG glow z and big z. Fits right between the two in terms of stability with the big z having more turn.

The Ti mantis is pretty laser straight imo. A little better in wind than a big z.

As much as I want to like the punisher the mold just doesn't click with me. The Ti and swirl ESP are nice plastics though. Little more grip on the swirl ESP. The flight of the two didn't seem all that different from the 1R Z that I have. Won't make the bag.

What the differences between the Mantis and the Heat? Both appear to be neutral.

I heard the new TI has a better grip and feel. Is this true?

speed the heat is faster, rim shape as well the heat has more of a bullet shaped rim like a road runner where the mantis has more of the traditional shape.

The Heat is significantly more understable. My Big Z Mantis will pop up from a slight hyzer and turn a bit, but always fade back. The same throw with the Heat would end up a roller.

Small enough where I don't feel like I need both.

The undertaker, at least not a glow z, is like a -1/2 (glow z is more like a 0/2.5) The mantis is more like a -1/1. If you like working angles and hyzer flips like I do you can probably get similar lines across almost any conditions

^^^This is my experience as well.

Even with my X Undertaker, which covers my turnover slot, I think the Mantis has a broader range of speed where it'll fly true to the numbers. If I don't get the X Undy up to speed it will on occasion fight back where i don't want it to. Over cook it, and it'll turn too early. (I need a little more field work with them, because I really like the Glo-Z, ESP, and X combo)
