Default Stable Control Drivers

Hi there,
I'm looking to fill the slot in my bag between my Felon and seasoned Volt. I have a new Volt that isn't as stable as I was hoping for, so I was wondering what you would recommend for this slot? I'd like to stay in the speed 8-10 range, and was thinking about a Convict but wanted input before I pulled the trigger. I'd like something that will fly a bit longer on a straight line than the Felon but without much lateral movement.

For reference, my Felon is used in the 330-350 range, and my Volt is used for shots closer to 375.

I'd go with the Tesla. It's a little longer, more stable Volt.

I have a Tesla that I use as my main workhorse driver off the tee but I'm trying to find a slightly slower disc for in the fairways. I do love my Tesla though.

What plastic is your Volt? I ask because the Eclipse version is nice and stable, so if you're familiar with the Volt, getting a more stable one would also be an option.

I have a seasoned Neutron Volt and a Fresh Proton Volt, both 173 grams. The fresh Proton flies great for lower power shots but isn't quite stable enough for this slot.

If you're trying not to step on the toes of a Tesla, I wouldn't go with a PD. I'd go with a Star Thunderbird.

That sounds like a good choice. I'd add these to the possibilities:

Saint Pro
Star FL (these are OOP, but still available)
Orc
Culverin
Tracker

You could check out a tyrant from rdg.

Teebird3 might be worth a look. I'm not huge on innova but I applaud them for remolding the teebird to give a nice flat complement flight. And it's a really solid disc for headwind and flexes without having too harsh of a fade.
Or ya know. There's a tyrant. Lol
