Default Controlling release angle in forehand.

I know that in the backhand you control/set the release angle (hyzer/anhyzer) by bending at the waist. And not changing the wrist or elbow.

Is this also true for forehand?

It's not true for me and I don't recognise it from pros throwing. I think it may typically be a combination of both waist and elbow but perhaps this is bad form and would be inconsistent.

I think it is a combo myself but much more so the elbow, say 80/20 %. The biggest help to me was the reach back. The higher the reach back, the more anny. The lower the reach back the more hyzer.

This is why for me personally I have a hard time throwing forehand on anything but hyzer. A 45 degree hyzer is about my most comfortable and strongest angle for me to throw on. But my reach back is naturally down near knee height with the disc. It took me a long time to learn how to throw anhyzers.

Yeah fh anhyzer is a weird angle. I stay away as much as i can - i would rather throw something slightly understable flat and have it drift left then come back.
