There's at least a couple that have more than me in WI. Tallpaul is over 300 in WI, and Mike Harrington I believe is ahead of me as well. For a while, Paul had more played in WI than there were courses in WI....that may still be the case.

After a quick check, both facts are correct.

Played my 100th course this morning, Holston Creek Park in Inman SC. It was an epic disc golf adventure for this Rec level player. A championship level course on a 39 degree day with a high wind advisory in effect. I quickly realized it was not going to be easy throwing with 40 mph wind gusts.

I remember the excitement a couple of years ago when I was approaching 100. I'm at 146 now and would LOVE to get 200. However, I don't travel a lot, so that limits me. I have 70 courses within 50 miles of me (great for me). Twenty of those 70 are rated 3.5 or higher, so I'm having trouble convincing myself to drive past good courses to play crappy courses to boost my numbers. I've played a few of the crappy courses in the area that hadn't been reviewed much (or at all) to help others, but at this point, I would have to play courses that are clearly inferior for no other reason than boosting my numbers.

509 courses played. 508 listed and one double secret course that's unlisted on DGCR.

Hoping to get to 600 by the end of the year.

Haven't played too many new courses in the past couple of years, after going after a 100 mile radius cleared out on my 'played' map*. Probably with the super secret, never-to-be-listed courses, I'd be right at 300 (erm, reviewed, that is...). Love to hit 500 someday, but not that big a fan of traveling, so they've got to happen whenever the family might be voyaging, or after I retire.

Of course, in the last couple of years, they've built nearly a dozen new courses within my 'cleared' area, so I don't have much excuse not to add a few this year!

*If you haven't joined VIP, I recommend it: it's worth it for the map feature alone!

Agreed, its by far the best way to boost courses played.

I recently tried a new strategy of buying land and building a course on it to increase my courses played numbers… but it’s not working. I’m saving on gas and can play every morning though.
