Design the first part of the course for ace runs for the entire course.

Our proposal from this guy is top shelf. We haven't selected a designer yet, but I liked what he sent us a lot.

John Houck or Mike Olse would be good choices in Texas.

Brian Lamoreaux with Team Dynamic Discs lives in the DFW area. He's designed about 6 courses, including the two highly rated courses in Cedar Hill. He had similar limitations there due to the courses there being on a nature preserve.

i like the work HB does. i think his prices are little high but he does a great job. i think he has designed around 40 courses now, 1 of them has been in texas.

If you're looking for easy to get a hold of, how's this?

If you are looking to save a few bucks on course design, I work for expenses only and don't charge any fees beyond that.

I've got three permanent course designs under my belt now and if you read the reviews it's often mentioned that "the designer did the best with what was there" or words to that effect. Here's my references:

http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4253

http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4392

http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=6130

If any of these courses allowed concrete tee pads I'm sure they'd be rated a 1/2 point higher, maybe more, but hey, a lot of times ya got "to be able to work with an environment that cant be tampered with too much". I have a lot of experience with that; no trees were cut down on these courses. Planted about 150 so far at Lafreniere but no removals.

I can be reached here or at underparmike@yahoo.com and I'd love to hear from ya if you wanna take a chance on a lesser-known but accomplished and still inexpensive designer.

Thanks,
Mike Kernan
