I have seen word of these nice flying embossed destroyers. Are they the current star plastic ones? Still the 4x?

Yes

They are nothing like the early meat hook mcbeth run.

I'll probably grab a stack at some point.

Since we share a lot of disc preference (ds, tb, cobra) I'll just throw my 2 cents out there on US fairways that might get overlooked..

Hatchet in VIP.
Flat pro valk under 169
Well-seasoned gstar beast (ridiculously good at utility or get out of troubles too)
Opto river
Monarch (people hate, but I enjoy the rim sometimes)

Found an opto flow the other week on the course and I'm really enjoying how it chucks just like a beat pro wraith. Endless glide.

Valk is a good suggestion

Can I interest you in a cobra discussion?

I have a lot of love for the ole cobra. Few other mids give me the confidence normally reserved for a driving putter. Dx is still my favorite, but I bag a slick-feeling glowbra for warm day rounds occasionally.

vCobra is cool but definitely more stable in a cobra-relative way.

Aviar3 isn't clicking

Search continues for a straight-ish premium plastic aviar like putter.

Aviar esque I'd say try a gummy champ or a warlock.

I remember you said you liked the birdie so consider a gstar rhyno.

AJ destroyer (os)
Mcbeth destroyer (new run and not super beefy)
*D destroyer (straight) or a pro
Champ tern

Fairway/control

Flat top champ firebird
Sexton FB
Nybo teebird
S-TB star teebird
Pro leopard

Mids

Champ king cobra
Champion cobra (straight)
DX cobra (understable)

Putters

DX aviar (circle putts)
Xt aviar (approaches)
Proxy

Aviar3 just wasn't clicking with me. I tossed a proxy in for now. Very nice for straight shots.

Sentinel out

Sexton back in

Lost my eagle L so I'll try a pro Leo I had in the stash.

Destroyers have been doing well this year. I may just replace the AJ with a slightly softer OS destroyer for sidearms.

I'm not sure I like not having an OS mid/putter. The pig/zone/gator may get another run.

Not trying to be facetious, and I didn't read the whole thread, but what about a Star Aviar P&A?

Or S-line P2? The Aviar especially will be pretty straight. And of course the Nova... Once you learn it, you can show that McBeth guy how to properly throw it.

I did grab a champ aviar3 but I've forgot to try it.

Been using a N proxy recently. Not bad at all. I have space for one more driving putter. Champ aviar, zone, and the envy are all being auditioned.
