MINT BOBCAT. I've thrown md3 and md4 of all plastics. Even if you find one you like (md3) it's crazy the price to buy backups.

People have said Caiman which seems to be the more popular option these days, but I think you're looking for a Mortar. Caiman is truly overstable and wants to dump out of the air, whereas the Mortar while still very stable, likes to glide a bit.

Also, smooth lower wing, small diameter, just like the Rat. Pretty rare combo for OS mids.

Buzzz OS or Quake? Probably a bit too OS for what you are looking for, but matches the rest of the description quite well. I've never thrown a Rat, but I've heard they aren't as OS as their numbers would suggest.

for something that's FLAT, comfy and OS I really like the new Streamline RUNWAY - but its fair OS so maybe that's not what you're looking for - I really like the MD4 but I feel that's more like a slightly more OS Buzzz. I thought the Rat was OS? idk, RUNWAYs are worth a look as they are cheap, GREAT plastic, FLAT as a board and nice flight. (Or the Axiom Pyro) both mids in the speed 5 range with a fade of 3 -

Alexplz, I didn't specify small diameter

I picked up a star MD3 yesterday, threw it BH and FH a few times next to a Rat and a champ RocX3. I didn't notice a huge difference vs the RocX3, maybe 10' more distance and it seemed a little less stable.

I bag Soft Zone and Champ Caiman. For low speed and distance it's the Zone. For a little more glide it's the Caiman. YMMV.
