Default Longest forehand in disc golf?

Who would do you guys think has the longest forehand in the game today? I saw a thread a while back about a European player who was throwing 500+ regularly, but I couldn't find it.

That seems crazy far, even further than most of the top pros we see on film.

I've seen 500+ twice on flat ground. Both of those guys were playing intermediate divisions (not terribly well).

Jason Cortella holds the FH distance record at 624'.

Eagle McMahon and Silver Latt are probably the longest that tour.

Anyone who can hit 500 without a downhill or the aide of wind can huck.

I throw 400+ and rarely get outdriven FH, though one guy on my card last weekend could keep up, and probably threw 450 BH too.

I’ve thrown over 500 flat twice both with a tailwind and lighter OS discs, and it was not easy to get all of the conditions right.

AG, Stokley back in the 90s and a few others are probably in that convorsation, but forehand is weird. You can have mediocre mechanics and if you have really good arm speed and a decently OS disc you can make it go far.

I'm curious about this, too.

When I was new to disc golf, I had no idea what a really long forehand distance was. But one day I was playing a solo casual round at Raintree Park in Troy and this guy and his girlfriend were behind me as I got to the tee pad on hole 9. She wasn't throwing, she was just along for the company, but I let them play through because it was obvious this guy was a really good player.

As we played that 9th hole, he gave me a few pointers. I don't know what the actual distance to the basket is, but it's marked something like 435 and I tend to believe it. He threw a drive that went about 25 feet past the basket and he made the putt. It wasn't until a while after that I realized that there probably aren't too many players who can throw a FH over 450 feet. Wish I knew who it was. I think he told me his name, but I don't remember.

Eagle, Zach Johnson, Geisinger, and Chris Clemons come to mind. McBeth has sneaky long forehand distance as well, especially when he just takes like one step, seems like he surprises himself sometimes.

Some other honarable mentions could be Brian Earhart, Austin Turner, and Adam Hammes.

What's interesting is that a lot of the best forehand throwers haven't been mentioned, like Wysocki, Sexton, Uli, Barsby, and Joel Freeman
