Default Paul McBeth's Disc Golf Course Property

Foundation DiscGolf plays some disc golf on Paul's property. One thing Paul got right is, if you're going to buy land for a course in the future, make sure it has plenty of trees.

These guys need to play more NC golf. Then they would know you're supposed to miss the trees.

Will this course be open to the public when finished? I remember reading something about how Paul wanted to have a pro-shop on property too but I could be remembering things wrong. It just looks like it is in a somewhat residential area that wouldn't accommadate the mass of fanboys (myself included) that would flock there.

Where he's living is basically the middle of nowhere in the country/farmland. Not sure its very residential, he probably has a neighbor or two but it looks like a very nice piece of land.

On the foundation live stream last night Paul said the course would be open as pay to play with the proceeds going back into the course.

That or wooded courses in Western New York, there are a few including the short but fairly tight course Shipwreck Bluff in Erie State park the one I have played besides Chainbiters at Brown Farm. The Shipwreck Bluff is so bad in the rough on the true full wooded holes it is fun to try to play out of it unless you are caught in the wild roses.

Looks like a great piece of land. I'd really love an in-depth tour with the thought process and a history of the decisions mapping and planning the course. Sort of like the content from our own course designers' passion projects but done on film. Or really just a documentary. A very, very niche documentary.
