Default Doubles sanctioned events.

Pardon my ignorance and lack of searchability. Could some one tell me how PDGA doubles works. Just wondering how your rating is effected. Whatever your teams round rating is, is what you and your partner get individually? Thanks.

Ratings are not produced from your scores. If ratings are used to determine teams, that's depends how the TD chooses to do it. There's no official PDGA method. The main reasons TDs sanction double events is they need the insurance coverage to use the course and for players to earn points.

I was wondering if playing in am world doubles in March of 2011 will count for purposes of causing old round ratings from February 2011 to drop off.

Nope. Only the date of an actual round in the ratings file moves your 12-month period forward.
