Default Saint/Avenger/Surge

I'm having some issues here. I love all three of these discs...but I have a sneaking suspicion that I can definately limit these. The saint is staying for sure, so I'm thinking I can drop the avenger or surge. What do you guys think about these discs and the overlaps between. Right now I'm throwing the saint, avenger, and surge from 350-375 ft respectively RHBH. I'm just so confused because I want to limit molds. I like the smaller rim of the avenger and the better accuracy, but is my distance gonna falter throwing the avenger instead of the surge? I prefer premium plastics for my discs. I'm so confused im just gonna open up the floor before I confuse you and myself more.

Saint and avenger are about. The same speed.

Surge is a bit faster. You can put the saint in lines to cover shots the avenger can do. I'd suggest dropping the avenger, use the surge for distance and you can beat up an ESP surge to cover undertake shots and stable shots. Get a z for slightly overstable needs.

That's what I was thinking...I have a 170g GL saint now. Maybe a 174 opto for the avenger duties? And are there saints out there...maybe like a 165g GL that would be close to an Avenger SS?

Idk much about the saints. But if you had a recycled plastic on that was beat up, you could get it similar but not exactly the same. the avenger ss has a good fade on it after it slows down. You could get a surge closer to the avenger ss than the saint

welll.... I just thought about it....

I haven't thrown an avenger ss since I've gotten better.... It probably faded due to bad form lol. If you beat up a recycled plastic one, you could get a flippy saint

You might see some overlap between the Avenger and the Surge and less so with the Saint. See below:

Saint • Avenger • Surge

Probably not quite as US as the Avenger SS. Maybe beat in a low weight GL.

I would drop the avenger and surge and go with PD and Saint.

the Avenger is a power hungry and finicky disc. if you throw it correctly it will go 450+. The Avenger SS does not fade.

The Saint is similar to the Avenger in flight and feel but it may not be quite as long. when the Avenger came out it was the biggest baddest fastest driver from Discraft. the Saint was designed as a control driver. But the same potential is there for the Saint.

The Surge is more Wraith-like.

Wouldn't it be easier to just go throw them all in a field and see if they fly differently for you? We are just people sitting behind a computer screen, we can't see how you throw. All the flight charts in the world don't mean anything.

My guess is that they all fly the same for you, which is why you are asking this question. In which case, the response is to keep the Saint and ditch the others.

If you've thrown these, you should be able to answer your own question.
