Gatekeeper Media, you suck.
I don't need to see your logo on every hole in the upper right corner, AND see it between every hole.
WAY to much.
Done, wont watch any Gatekeeper coverage any more, will stick to CCDG and Jomez from now on.
Thanks for ruining DG coverage.
THAT is your issue? Is the slightly transparent logo in the upper right hand corner? Jomez has their logo in the lower left and it said "JomezPro" in the upper right hand corner. Sure, Gatekeeper could probably have something different between holes, but what a minor complaint to have. All I really care about it good camerawork and graphics that are not too obtrusive.

But, to each their own I suppose.

I would argue, unless the course rules indicate specifically, that that damn rock "leaning up against the wall with a hole in it" is not part of the wall. Were it part of the wall.....what would it be leaning on? It is not part of the wall by that rationale and freemans awesome shot was IB. Also what did his shot bounce off of to almost come back through the hole.....was it....the wall?

Freeman's shot through the hole was ruled inbounds. He had an OB penalty on his drive so the shot through the rock hole was his 3rd and he made the putt for par 4.

A local player is gonna be on Joe's card tomorrow. I've sent word through various channels that he should tell Bishop DGCR says hi.

That rock, and Freeman's shot, were in bounds. The OB line is the rope laid on top of the wall, not the wall itself. On the wall or in the wall, it's the disc's location relative to the rope that determines its status.

Really? Overreact much? Who cares about the logos unless they're so obtrusive as to block part of the action? It's there to protect their copyrights as much as anything else. Not that there's all that much concern about theft, but it's a lot harder to take their footage and re-edit it as if it's one's own if it's got the Gatekeeper logo on it. Jomez does the same thing...their name/logo is omnipresent in their coverage as well.

If there's anything to object to in the Gatekeeper videos, and there isn't much, it's the lack of a bottom-third scoreboard during play. To be fair though, CCDG lacks this as well, to their detriment IMO. I know I'm not a typical viewer, but I generally turn on video coverage and let it run on the TV in the background during the day (so often, a new video will autostart and I won't be paying attention to what it is). Occasionally I'll look up, or someone will walk in, and it isn't immediately obvious who's on the screen. At least with the lower third scoreboard, you've got a one-in-four (or three or five) chance of identifying the thrower...and/or the event.

The weather has been a bit cooler in Massachusetts during the last few days. It dropped into the low 50's - high 40's degrees F last night.

The winners' jump into the pond may be a rather brisk dip.

Brief citing of Mr Bishop and his card just now on the live coverage. Back up on hole 9 allowed for seeing their drives on hole 8. Results were not pretty.
