I got one the first December after I started playing, about 4 months into my DG obsession, as my Christmas present to myself.
Absolutely loved it, got a few discs I still use today. Learned a few I definitely did not want to, or could not throw, as well.
Learned a lot from that box.
That said, I doubt I'll be getting one this year. I know now what I like and the idea of spending 100 bucks for maybe 2 or 3 discs I might use, and even then would be most likely in a color I dont like, or plastic I dont like, isnt worth it any more.
I like picking the exact mold/color/plastic that shows up at my door.

There are a bunch that are crap and I avoided all of them until I found the Disc Member one.
It cancels out all the negatives of every other monthly deal I had seen.

1. You get to see exactly what disc(s) you are getting each month. You know the mold and the plastic and can see the custom designed artwork exclusive to the deal the disc will have.
2. You get to see what other misc stuff comes as well. In Florida, I really enjoy the microfiber towels and dri-fit shirts, etc.
3. It's 25 bucks a month! The dri-fit shirts cost that much alone!
4. Any month you dont want the package deal, you just tell it to skip that month! You dont have to pay for it.
5. You can even opt to send that months deal to a friend! There was one month with a discs and stuff I knew a buddy I play with liked, I surprised him and had it delivered to his house.
6. Udisc Pro subscription inculded.

Basically, its the first of the "monthly" deals that's all win and no lose. There's no "mystery" crap you're stuck with cause you see everything coming ahead of time.
You can skip any month you don't want and you aren't charged the $25.

This months order went out yesterday, and I'm awaiting 2 discs, Prodigy 500 H4V2 (new plastic) and Prodigy 300 Soft PA4

Interesting! Thank you for the review, still not my cup of tea, but it sounds legit for those who may try it out.

DiscMember is run by DiscStore.com, which just happens to be based in my hometown of Omaha, NE. So for that, have a 'like.'
