I see it more as a beginner who has too many discs they are using not knowing what they are doing or a lot of different beginner sets and or somebody on a tight budget, even for some person who is unsure if a true backpack is the way to go, to try one out. Also for some people who want a back up backpack for lesser used winter setup as they started after the fad of single strap bags and got a decent $80+ bag for the first bag after a little starter single strap too small for winter set up. I just have winter about 90% built into the main setup so I do not need to swap bags or discs just use other discs in my setup. I just got the bag to use for my main setup when the bag that is not a true Disc Golf Bag fails in the future.

I was going to let people know who want to have a loaner set of discs made up of all the extra discs they have that are for beginners that want to play with them.

I was wondering if this is an improvement on both of the Academy versions they sold and let people on here know if the bag is worth it since I could see a number of people buying the bag due to its price. I will post a review here and on the site.

I just hope what happened to the original sellers post on Amazon of the Bagalane knock off of the Gorilla Boy bag does not happen on Amazon. People from DGCR were going over to tank the rating of a bag they never bought but had the post make it look like they bought the bag, needed to look at the part that said Varied purchase.

They can always cover up the Athletico with a sew on logo from a disc brand they like most. Most of the Disc brands have something that would work for that, even some disc stores do too.

The Bag came in today

Well it was a good Backpack for disc golf, I am using it on the seat part of my Vertex Angler Backpack when the backpack on the seat dies in about 4-5 years. Now for the bag. I am not really going to use the one side pocket for a cooler unless everything else fits on the other side.

Pros: good price. Has wide straps. Has a foam stiffener piece you Velcro to the bottom under the divider, was a surprise. Has the ability to fit lager drinks up to a 1 liter bottle. Has lots of little pockets. One of the pockets strengthens the bag more being the cooler side. Has the inner top spot for up to 3 discs in the bag. Has 5 round dome plastic things on the bottom of bag to keep the bag stable on the ground.

Cons: It needed some pins crimped shut on back part of the big side storage as the side storage opened up all the way. The Side storage

It appears to be a decent made backpack if you do not way overload the backpack and do not overly toss the bag around way too much, I would not want this for any disc golf backpack having to re-put discs in the main storage anyhow with most bags.

Now bag is $35 flat on Amazon. Still I think worth it for all the bag can do.

Sure. But you can save another $7.50 and get a Trooper. I heard someone say something good about that one, too. And it’s made by an actual disc golf company (or maybe to say an actual DG company puts its name on the bag is more accurate)!

Although, I’m not sure the trooper is unisex?... what do I know.
