It's the old DX Glow. It was something special, but it did beat in way faster than regular DX, so we shouldn't romanticize it too much.

That said, I'd happily jump at the chance to buy the contents of that picture.

I think I'm down to 9 of the old Glo DX Rocs with the mini swoosh.

I bag two of them though.

Lost a newer one at my favorite course over an entire winter and now it's a great flyer.

So did that beat it up a bit? Or how does she fly compared to fresh?

Took two Rocs out this weekend to throw around...both new run and embossed and in pretty fresh condition.

173 Dx Roc - stiff, poptop and OS from this year's Ice Bowl
170 Dx Roc - stiff, mild dome and flies -1/1

They make a pretty good pairing.

Is the poptop a sharp nose and the mild dome a round nose?

I'll have to double check the poptop but the mild dome I believe is a round nose...it's the one I posted about a little bit ago in this thread.

Not a lot...but it's there, and my form's decently clean. It flies like a Buzzz. The poptop is definitely more of a typical Rancho.

I've had around 10 of the round nose current embossed ones and all are in the mild dome range, definitely not close to poptop. The sharp noses vary and have a few poptops that are very OS, almost more than a fresh, heavy Z Wasp.

So is it a different mold or do they cool differently? What causes the difference?

Made me wonder this also. How many different castings/molds does Innova use to make their Rocs?
