Default Update on Form: RIP ME

It's been about a month and a half since my last video and I'm on my phone so digging the thread out would be rough. Only been playing about 5 months and started strictly FH and wanted to develop a back hand. My max D with mids has been about 300, I usually hit 250-275. Today I realized I feel more comfortable throwing 2 finger grip then I do the 4 finger power grip. Feel like the disc flies smoother on max D drives. For ups I switch to the fan or power grip with 4 fingers. I have been working but know I need to do more to fix it. I figured out some stuff while playing after I threw. The smoother my follow through the better throw I had, this video doesn't have a smooth follow through at all haha. Let me have it guys!

Use your hips to bring the arm back and forth instead of hugging yourself. Check how much Chris Max(ignore the 360 part) turns his hips/shoulders back and the upper arm/bicep is much wider from the chest. Turn your hips and shoulders and whip the arm last, you start pulling hard way early.

Check your grip looks oriented incorrectly:

That really explained the "hugging" myself part alot! Thanks sidewinder! I am using the 2 finger grip in that link you posted also. Looks almost identical. I have tiny hands for a bigger guy and it is way more comfortable and my release feels great with it. I will work on using my hips tomorrow and hopefully find a way to video myself!

Just a little update. Played a quick round by myself today so no video. I shot +1, normally shooting +3 or worse depending on putting. The longest holes are 400 and 445. Par on the 400 and +1 on the 445 because of a stupid second shot. What I did notice was I have much better control with 2 finger grip then 4. Weird? Also I felt awkward going hip first but I got about 10-15 more feet with my Buzzz. Gonna take some muscle memory, had a few chances to finish under par for the first time ever but one hole really screwed me up. It was a good round though. Traveling to Nashville tomorrow to play Cedar Hill and Fontanel with a few friends on my day off tomorrow. Ill try and get a video up!

Not weird. Climo gives an explanation when talking about the stacked fork grip; two release points being more consistent than 4.
