Gateway has some crazy 1-10 scale for each of their plastics... So if there are 10 different kinds of SSS, SS, S, Plain(?), and HPP or whatever else they have... well do the math. Another reason I keep off Gateway...

Dynamic discs has an eBay store and he rates each disc for softness 1-9. He also says if it's slicker than normal too. I recently switched from kc aviars (which I still think are great discs) to some soft wizards "7" according to DD's eBay ad. I vote for buying 2-3 from him and just ask him for a 5,6 and a 7or8.

False. The trick is to buy within the same run. I found a lot of Dynamic Disc stamped Wizards that all felt the same (flex, surface) within +/- 2g of each other. Being in St. Louis definitely helps

Yeah, there are lots of plastic inconsistencies, but personally I haven't found that they affect flight so much that it makes them non-wizard like. I've had several SSS wizards, and many feel different from one another, but they all putt exactly the same.

Roc1time might be right there if you don't have access to a large selection of gateway putters. It may be smart to stock up, But for those people with easy access to personally handle them before they buy its not as big of a deal because they can go to a store and hold and fondle them all they want. It's especially easy for people like myself and gj pain who are in the st Louis area having gateway right there has allowed me to go in 3 different times and get 3 nearly identical feeling wizards.

And those Dynamic Discs ones are awesome I picked one up a couple days ago off the misprint xout rack at gateway for $6 nothing wrong but the stamp is a little messed up still looks great

Yeah I even talked to Dave McCormick about it when I was buying mine. He said he had no idea why those were in there. My guess is that there was a surplus in production compared to the order. Either way, I got myself some saweet putters on the cheap.
