So you think an Opto Fuse would fit in well as a straighter/more understable compliment to a Buzzz/Roc combo?

Yea. Its pretty much the same as a comet just a little more stable. and lots of people love the buzz/comet duo

You've got to remember that we're on the internet, not the course - so this whole "Plastic A is more understable than Plastic B in the same mold" is for the most part splitting hairs when both discs in comparison are premium plastic discs.

Plus people tend to assume on here that every throw that they make is the exact same every time.

^^^ That's why field practice is so important - it's much easier to compare discs when you're throwing a stack of them one after the other.

At the same weight, Opto and GL Fuses and Rivers aren't different enough to tell apart unless you're a 1000-rated player. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

It's also more similar in profile to a Buzzz than a Comet and it's also closer in speed to a Buzzz than a Comet, IMO. You can go from Buzzz to Fuse w/o having to think too much about changing power/speed/grip as would a Comet. Great combo.

I really wish Lat. 64 would make a smaller diameter Core, just a tad more overstable, i.e. an Opto Nebula, so that I can rock an all Swedish mid combo.

So my current mids are drone, buzzz, comet, and I am looking to get something that I can throw just as hard as a buzzz without the LSS. Basically I want something I can torque that will turnover, and not come back. I want something like a Comet, but faster and a little more stable. I've come to the conclusion that the Fuse or River might be that disc. I know the River is faster and has crazy glide, but the Fuse might be more controllable. So which disc and which platic do you guys think would fit my needs the best? I do like throwing more max weight plastics to hid or humble OAT.

Heavy Opto Fuse. Meteor's not a bad choice but it's more liable to turn and burn if you torque it too much. But a Fuse = "I want something like a Comet, but faster and a little more stable" to a tee. A QMS isn't a bad option either. And a River is clearly a fairway type driver fyi.

Really, my best recommendations for a finesse compliment to a Buzzz are:
Fuse
QMS
Beat ESP Buzzz
Meteor
X or D Buzzz (interchangeable with the ESP Buzzz but will wear out quicker).
