Put it back for someone else to find. Then they can start this thread and you can watch the forthcoming lynching with a sigh of relief.

Approach in a non-threatening manner, keep your voice low and don't force direct eye contact.

I throw it in the box in my trunk because sooner or later I'll figure out who's it is.

Start bonfire, throw in discs as sacrifices for the Golf Gods.

Good on you for turning them in. I feel you would also call numbers and make reasonable attempts to return discs. This is a better found disc tread than usual.

Personally I don't feel right keeping a found disc. That's just me though. And the local PIAS will let you drop off found discs if a meeting is too inconvenient.

Remember that not returning a lost disc is just like someone stealing your wallet or beating a baby seal.

Heck, I used to write out elaborate rationales for these threads, but in just two years of seeing dozens and dozens of these, my advice has simplified: do whatever helps you sleep at night with a clear conscience and don't give a rip about what others think on the matter. For me, that's calling if inked, or turning it in to a lost and found if not.

Keep with no ink. Pro Shop will just take it and sell it so you might as well benefit since you were the one who found it. Can always give it to a friend too.
