Out of curiosity -- and because I couldn't find it in a lazy search -- anyone know what percentage of people are showing long-haul symptoms? It's scary, but I get the impression it's fairly low.

^ This x10. If I see employees not masked up , especially at some place serving food, it's hard not to wonder, "What other precautions aren't they taking?"

Besides, no mask in and of itself is a deal breaker for me to approach folks who deal with the public on a regular basis.

I admit, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around just how many ignorant 'Muricans are out their. I don't think it's anywhere near the majority, but they're far more numerous than just a fringe movement. They are a substantial part of the mainstream.

The fact that there seems to be a strong resurgence in many areas, despite the fact that most (at least that's what I believe) people are masking up, distancing, and washing hands makes me wonder how bad things would be if we all took the naysayers' point of view.

Thank you!

Being alive is not the baseline of health that we should be aiming for here. The xx% survive stat annoys me as it boils the health outcomes to a binary choice of dead or fine.

It is hard living in a new world. I have spent most of 30 years picking up trash on the course, putting it in my pocket or bag, until I come across a can. Just a habit. I still have to stop myself. If it ain't yours, don't touch it.
