18 Rockland Reds in the rain while sick. Shot a 67, started off mediocre and fell off at the end.

Rockland Reds again, shot a 61 this time

Had a decent round going but I always do poorly on holes 15 and 16. I generally can count on at least taking 8 strokes between those two and today it was 9, yesterday it was 12 strokes lol.
Swapped fairways to 4 F2s, changed to a different Comet, took the FD3 out.
No wolves spotted!

Clutch corner can potentially ruin any round at Rockland. It’s tough to score low without a few more deuces or an on point scramble game.

I’m pretty sure Bean scared the wolf into Clark County, lol! We’ll keep patrolling out there, keeping out the riff-raff.

I need to start taking the flex forehand route on 16, I think it gives the best consistency with the lowest possibility of punish, considering the right side is much more favorable than falling in the hole on the left.

For 15 I actually hit the right landing zone for once with the forehand and flubbed the upshot. Might experiment with a backhand putter turnover to the bottom of the hill/corner, since going long past the corner ruins the 3 chance.

On hole 15 I much prefer to be left past the 2 big oaks rather than middle to right side of the fairway.

How do you play 16? The flex forehand/lefty roller gap can also be played righty hyzer to the bottom of the hill leading to a fairly routine 3.

15 it's so much more important to be in the fairway than anything else and I just need to play for that

16 I normally throw the placement hyzer but it hasn't been working for me super well recently and the flex has a higher potential to climb the hill some as it fights out of it. I also like to toy with a huge rollerish throw from the back of the pad to the left. Results are hit or miss but it gives a lot of smiles per throw.

My love for Clarke's run is very much unrequited!
Played a doubles round there with a friend of mine, shot a 62 with him to tie for last in "silver" haha. Watched one of our cardmates hit an awesome ace on 10, backhand, you could tell it was in the second it left his hand.

Followed it up by shooting a solo 74, but man I was running out of juice in the middle of that second round.
One of my friends keep shooting 930 rounds (a solid 30 points over his rating) every time we do tag matches, and my casual skill is around 900, so I haven't had our small group #1 tag in a hot minute.

Awesome! I love that disc, I crushed it as hard as I could on a big turnover on hole 9 Woodshed and it disappeared. Lot of room for variance on that hole in turns of where you land when it's that downhill and needs a big turnover line.
