I saw a wolf today at the Rock. The animal not the disc.

I shot a 55 from the reds.

Teepads were clear of snow (for the most part) today. I played the reds at Rockland. Finished a kind of dissatisfying 56. I couldn’t deuce when I needed to.
Went: 3,3,3,3,3,2,4,3,3,4,3,3,3,4,3,3,3,3.

I threw:
The 3 Omegas
Star Mako3
Champ Roc3
Mortar
Leo3
Gstar TL3
Champ Thunderbird
Star Wraith

Some Rockland rounds:
1/10/20 reds-3,3,3,3,3,2,4,4,2,3,3,4,3,4,4,3,3,3. 57
1/13/20 reds- 3,3,4,3,3,2,5,4,2,3,3,4,3,3,3,3,3,3. 57
1/14/20 blues-4,3,3,3,3,4,6,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4,4,3,3. 61
1/14/20 reds- 3,4,3,3,3,2,4,3,3,2,4,3,3,3,4,3,3,4. 57

Then today:
Rockland reds: 3,3,3,4,2,3,4,2,3,2,2,3,2,3,3,3,3,3. 51

Today I played with the mirror bag. I threw:

The three Omegas (3 different ones)
Recon Mortar (the seasoned one)
180 Star Mako3
180 Star Roc3
168 Champ Leopard
175 Star TL3
168 Champ Thunderbird
Gstar sidewinder, the roller
168 Star Destroyer

A lot of the discs are in new condition or only slightly used. Seasoning backups takes some effort. The Thunderbird, brand new, is perfect as is. Super flat top and controllable. If I had REALLY flippy Thunderbirds I might not carry any other driver.

Are all the blue tees clear? Last time I tried to play them hole 5 (I think) fairway was completely blocked by a tree from the blues.

I'm surprised you could go with an all Thunderrbird driver lineup, I feel like Thundies never go as far as I expect them to.
Obviously it wouldn't be an issue at Rockland, but it would make a difference at Maurertown or JB.

I've heard the runs of Pro Thunderbird are really good though.

As Ive said before, the tree on 5 may be across the fairway but it doesnt block the line you need to hit. If you hit it your shot was already off.

Thunderbirds... Amazing discs. There have been a few that Ive really clicked with. The new orange 168 is one of them. They are the most controllable driver Ive used since I started playing in the late 90s. Currently I have the overstable and stable Thunderbirds in the bag. I need a flippier one and and a really flippier one (the roller) and Id be set. Im thinking of getting a Gstar. I dont sacrifice much distance vs any distance driver. As you know, my game is mostly low and straight.

I was mostly being hyperbolic anyway.

Practice? Sheet! This is life.
My time off request has been approved so VTI is a go! Apple Valley needs to grow up! We need 1 old dude and 1 really old dude for WVTI. We need to snag us some ringers. I should talk to MJ an Schweb.

Hes playing for Seneca this year. Weve got another JG in his place now. Our squad is complete. AV JV has a full team too. Apple Valley is bringing the ruckus this year!
