I played 2 concurrent rounds from the Rockland reds today. Player B teed second every hole but from there the away player had the first disc selection. It was interesting not having the optimal disc for every shot. I played well overall and I had to make 2 different putts per hole. I need to do more at home putting and putting leagues to keep drilling. VTI is only three weeks away!

Player A
3,5,2,3,3,3,3,2,3,2,3,3,2,3,3,3,3,3 52
Player B
3,3,3,3,3,2,5,2,3,2,3,3,3,3,4,3,3,3 54

Discs used:
Two 175 Quantum Omega 1.3
150 Sirius Omega 1.1
175 Sirius Omega 1.2
175 FrontlineX Mortar 1.5
168 Star Mako3
180 Star Roc3
168 Champ Leopard
175 Champ Teebird 12X
175 Glow Champ Teebird-12 years old but still new
171 Champ Thunderbird
168 Champ Thunderbird
171 Star Roadrunner-the roller
175 Gstar Wraith-the other roller
167 Star Wraith
175 Star Wraith “12 speed” stamp-nice and overstable

... so throwing two concurrent rounds you shot ~1000 rated as player A and 980 or so as player B, that's pretty good for not having optimal discs for a lot of shots! I assume a roll away on hole 2? No 4's though.

I haven't gotten to play Rockland in way too long. I'm hoping maybe I can rectify that this weekend, but I doubt it, got a lot going on recently.

I played Apple Valley tag league at Maurertown today. I came in with the #10 tag. There were 35 participants, no cash involved. We played the white tees to a mix of A and B pins. My card started on hole 14:

14B:Star wraith 167g>40’ putt>tap in
15A: Gstar wraith roller>Thunderbird FH>Little Magic>20’ putt
16A: Champ TL3>25’ putt
17B: Champ TL3>Little Magic from 80’>drop in
18: Star Wraith>45’ putt
1A:Star wraith>Little Magic from 60>drop in
2A: Champ Roc3>35’ putt
3A: Sirius Omega>15’ putt
4B: Recon Mortar FH>Little Magic>tap out
5B: Star Wraith>Little Magic from 60 short>15’ putt
6B: Champ Roc3>25’ putt
7A: Gstar TL3>Little Magic>15’ putt
8A: Sirius Omega>Little Magic>18’ putt
9B: Sirius Omega> 28’ putt
10A: Champ Thunderbird>25’ miss>tap in
11A: Gstar Wraith roller>Omega FH>25’ miss>tap in
12a: Little Magic sky anny>38’ chainout from deep>drop in
13A: Little Magic standstill>10’ putt.

I finished ina 3 way tie at 49 behind a 48 and two 47’s. I walked away with tag #9.

I saw the scores for that, some low low ones, though for a softer layout. 47 has gotta be ~1020+ rated roughly.

12a: Little Magic sky anny. Is this the short hole over the field on the right? I guess this is the only decent lefty option but that is hilarious.

That a pretty good guess. From last year tournament, but I am sure some of the basket where in a longer position.

45 1037
46 1026
47 1015
48 1004

35 people in attendance is impressive numbers.

Yeah the B baskets are "tougher" so I took the scores from the FLY last year and added one extra stroke of difficulty.

Shenandoah county is doing a great job manicuring out there so the course may play a bit easier.
Hole 12 over the field is a possible forehand too. I just feel the anny has a better chance of beating the trees right of the basket. Sure I end up deep (parked the B position) but there’s no low ceiling on the putt like when ending up short.

55 from the Rockland reds today excepting hole 13: played the blue. Surprise, another tree is down.

Went 4,3,4,3,3,2,5,2,3,2,3,3,3,3,3,3,2,4

Im not analyzing what I threw but this is the full bag setup now:

Upper park shift:
Sirius Omega x4
Mako3
Roc3 x2
Mortar
TL3 x3
Roadrunner
Thunderbird x2
Draco
Wraith x3

Any questions?
