So day of...

I put in the Magics and my go-to seasoned Buzzz and then added a Hemp Wizard I got as my players pack and rolled with that. Firebird was also around as it was quite gusty. Played okay...it was for charity so wasn't in a tryhard mode.

Looks good! I always like it when you’ve got a Firebird in there.

How was the Hemp Wizard? They seem awful flexy for my taste.

How long does GStar plastic last for you?

The Hemp I received was SS flex so it was perfect as I've started leaning more towards SS Wizards overall. Great thrower.

G* is the perfect amount of time vs. wear for the frequency I play (1-2 times a week, if I'm lucky). My flippy Valk was my stable/OS Valk last year and the stable/OS one for this year is starting to show some turn so I might toss in a new one to start using in the wind.

Hmmmmm...I really like the Warden as a throwing putter. I keep going back and forth with an ESP and a Ti Buzzz for my freshy.

Putters:
Soft Wizard - beat up, main putter
SSS Wizard - pretty worked in, jump putter
Classic Blend Warden - thrower

Midrange:
X Buzzz - beat, US Buzzz
Z Buzzz - seasoned, straight Buzzz

Drivers:
G* Valkyrie - seasoned, US Valk
G* Valkyrie - a little seasoned, straight Valk
G* Valkyrie - fresh(ish), OS Valk
G* Firebird - fresh(ish), OS driver

How are you liking the G* Firebird?

I added a G* to the bag last year, the only plastic of Firebird my noodle arm can actually find a use for.

This is pretty much my experience with it...I can actually find use for a G* FB as opposed to a Star or Champ. Plus I like that it doesn't skip a lot on spike hyzers, easier to place it.

Agree that the Warden is an excellent throwing putter. I tried Fluid Wardens before Fluid was taken OOP, then they came out in Lucid, so if you want to try the Warden in a more premium plastic, they're very good.

I experimented with Nate Sexton Firebirds as my OS fairway, and they did well and weren't as OS as other FBs I tried. If GStar is working for you, stick with that, but other readers seeing this might consider the Sextons if they don't like GStar.
